Upstream Dam: Upstream is nothing but of “The dam supplies the water in the above area of the coverage” I mean it’s kind of dam not have floating gates and falling gates too. It supplies water in the above area. Is called upstream dam.

Downstream Dam: Downstream Dam is nothing but of “The Dam supplies the water in down the area of dam” is called Downstream Dam. I mean the dam water floating through the downwards by floating valves and openers and supplies the down.

I wish to clarify this Question answers in the form of images After seen that u can understood more that.

Yes we well heard about this word, from our childhood till 60 yrs old we mostly use this word in our life. A baby may be learn this word only from in his/her life. But we not sure about the meaning of the word know.
